Histoire

The region was the granary of the Moroccan dynasties thanks to the ancestral irrigation of Tadla. The Zayane Berbers fiercely resisted colonization until 1933. Khénifra is the symbol of this resistance.

Géographie

Between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, the region offers grandiose landscapes: Ouzoud waterfalls, mountain lakes, cedar forests. The continental climate experiences snowy winters and hot summers.
