Histoire

Villa Cisneros under Spanish rule, Dakhla was integrated into Morocco in 1979. Long isolated, it has experienced spectacular tourist growth since 2010 thanks to board sports.

Géographie

A 40 km peninsula advancing into the Atlantic, Dakhla forms a 400 km² lagoon. The climate is ideal: 25°C all year round, constant wind, never any rain. A unique microclimate in the world.
