Most practices take appointments by phone. In larger cities, some doctors also accept walk-in patients, with variable waiting times. It is best to call the practice to check opening hours and conditions.

Morocco has a public sector (hospitals, health centres) and a private sector (practices, clinics). The private sector generally offers shorter waiting times, while the public sector is more affordable. AMO insurance and mutual schemes reimburse part of the costs depending on your plan.

In an emergency, go to the emergency department of the nearest public hospital or private clinic. You can call 141 (SAMU) or 150 (civil protection in many cities) for assistance. Keep your ID and insurance card with you.
