About AFCON 2025 in Morocco
The Africa Cup of Nations 2025 (AFCON 2025) is the 35th edition of Africa's biggest football tournament. Hosted by Morocco, this competition will bring together 24 national teams from December 21, 2025 to January 25, 2026.
Matches will be played in 6 stadiums across the country: Rabat (final), Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Fes and Tangier. A total of 52 matches will be played to determine the successor of Ivory Coast, the defending champions.
Morocco, the host country, is among the favorites alongside Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal and Algeria. This edition marks AFCON's return to Morocco for the first time since 1988.
